The Obama Care Question

Just this morning I received an e-mail claiming that the media's current H1N1 Virus reporting is nothing more than a ploy to make money for a certain pharmeceutical company of which former Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld is allegedly an executive of.

It's been a long time since I've read anything on Rumsfeld. The media's campaign against him worked, and the White House relented by forcing him to resign. But, it appears that every so often we run into someone who continues to seeth with some pathological visceral hatred of either President Bush or one of those who served in his administration.

President Bush was recognized as the only American President to have done more to combat AIDS in Africa than any other previous US president. This was barely reported by the organs of the alphabet news media because it would have compromised its drive to discredit and dishonor him. I have a lot of pet peeves with the former president, and found myself often agreeing and then often disagreeing with him; but I will not stand idly by and not share this one little known fact with those reading this post. The Scriptures teach US that the LOVE OF MONEY is the root of all evil, and many have become bankrupt in their faith pursuing riches and ill gotten gains at the expense of others.

With the antipathy in which the media holds former President Bush and especially former Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld, I doubt it has any interest in exclusively promoting a product which will presumably make Mr. Rumsfeld any richer. The media's agenda is to promote the Obama Administration's drive to enforce Socialized Medicine in the guise of health care reform, and to that end it will stop at nothing to do it. Remember how it tried to throw the 2004 elections with a phony story about President Bush's Air National Guard record just one night before the elections?

Take note on how it presents the stories on Obama Care, and the connections it makes to Obama's plan. One question every American must ask of their congressman or senator with regards to Obama Care; a question which will speak volumes as to the intent of those promoting Obama Care and attempting to make it law. The question you must ask your congressman and senator is the following:

"Are there any bills before congress, any plans being offered either by President Obama, the Democrats or the Republicans that will provide the exact same kind of medical coverage for every American that the president and members of congress currently have?"

The answer will be no, but ask anyway, don't' take my word for it.

The answer they will give you will speak volumes about the quality of the healthcare they're trying to ram down our throats "for our good" versus what they have voted for themselves. At a time when the president of the United States and a good number of our elected representatives are obsessed with passing a health care bill that will not be the kind of coverage he and they enjoy, every American must ask if it is worth the cost. Especially when those who need the current coverage are going to be the very ones whom this president and congress will require to give up the most in the name of universal coverage. I don't know about you, but anything that is less than what our congressmen, senators, and president have is not good enough, especially if our senior citizens are being required by them to give up the most to placate their personal obsession in seeing this bill pass at any cost.

No Mr. President, the cost to ailing, and poor Americans is too great for them to bear. Give up your plans first, and do your part by raising your own taxes before you try to pull the same on US.
